Sandbank & mangrove experiences

A full day of signature ocean experiences, combining the two icons of Pemba — the sandbank and the mangroves. The order of the two activities will be defined on the day according to the tides.

Sandbank: sail aboard a traditional dhow towards a remote strip of pure white sand surrounded by crystal-clear shallow water. Rest under the sun, snorkel over vibrant coral and savour a fresh seafood lunch prepared on site.

Mangroves: glide through the island's untouched mangrove channels by kayak, snorkel over thriving marine life and discover a hidden beach tucked away in the heart of the forest.

Return to the hotel in the late afternoon for free time, followed by dinner.
